We are pleased to announce that as of today we’ve been able to help fill 6 positions so far; a big win for us since starting our small group. This doesn’t mean we will stop however as there will always be opportunities out there that need to be filled and CA’s who wish to fill them. To help strengthen our team we also added two new members to the team; Cynthia Kumar and Brad Metcalf, both CA’s who came on board in the last couple of months. They both bring tremendous enthusiasm, additional contacts, and new ideas with which to grow.
The last part of this message is to update everyone on where we stand with opportunities at a quick glance. Look for descriptive postings to continue but in the interest of getting you information we wanted people to be able to see everything available. The first list is of opportunities based on the original files we sent out in 2011. We reached out to the various organizations to find out if the positions were still open. Each of the opportunities includes contact information so send them an e-mail or give them a call.
The second list contains more recent opportunities available through Volunteer Calgary. We have not yet established a relationship with these organizations (currently in the process) however there are some great roles and we encourage you to reach out to them directly if they pique your interest.
